Metrics on Development
Groups:
Since the inception of the site membership has been growing, I realize members have different backgrounds but I was wondering if this site will provide information on the actual code and application and some software development metrics to track the development process to understand where the application is in terms of development and implementation. If this information is readily available can someone direct me to the source. Thank you

Response on FLOSS SOLA Software Development Metrics
This site will be updated with information regarding the SOLA application and code base as the development effort progresses. Information already available on this site includes the statement of requirements, use cases and the proposed architecture (see Community > Documents > Technical). These documents are available to all site members. Monthly progress reports are also available (see Community > Documents > Monthly Reports).
Thank you for your question regarding development metrics. The full development team has only just assembled in Rome during the past week. The team will be using the Agile Scrum Methodology for the development of SOLA and once development is under way and rhythm established, the team will publish story point metrics (e.g. Total Story Points, Completed Story Points and Team Velocity) to this site at the completion of each Sprint. The Quality Plan, which will be added to this site once it has completed review, describes these metrics in more detail as well as other product and quality metrics that will be tracked internally by the team.
The best contact for this project is Neil Pullar (). Refer to About > Contact Us for additional contact information.

The following observations were made to the SOLA team through an email.
This type of comment is useful as it highlights areas we can improve in our user interface and help as well as identifying (small!) software bugs. Please feel free to provide similar suggestions and comments.

Source code metrics now available
The SOLA Team have recently moved to a cloud server environment which has enabled us to expose our build resources. This includes a SONAR instance used to evaulate source code metrics. You can review those metrics for the core project at http://metrics.flossola.org
